Sam

Sam Gedihovich

Student Intern

Sam Gedihovich is a graduate student in her fourth semester of the Communication Sciences and Disorders program at the University of Central Florida. She began the program in 2024 after earning her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Florida State University. With a background in public relations and customer success management, Sam brings strong communication and interpersonal skills to the field. She is passionate about working with adults and has a particular interest in cognition. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her fiancée and reading with a cat curled up in her lap.

Esther

Esther Harris

Student Intern

Esther Harris is a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology at Touro University, where she also earned her B.S. in Speech and Communications. She has experience supporting children in both school settings and therapeutic camps, creating inclusive, communication-rich environments. Esther is especially passionate about AAC and helping children find their voice. As a proud member of the Jewish community and a student intern with the ASHA Jewish Caucus, she is excited to contribute to advocacy efforts and promote culturally responsive care within the field.

Sydney

Sydney Friedman

Student Intern

Sydney Friedman is a senior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing her bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience supporting both children and adults, including individuals in memory care settings. Sydney is especially passionate about working with adults with disabilities, empowering individuals to find their voice and express themselves. As a proud member of the Jewish community, she is committed to advocating for Jewish speech-language pathologists and contributing to efforts to combat antisemitism within the field.

Maddison

Madison Silber

Student Intern

Madison Silber is an undergraduate student at Yeshiva University, pursuing a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is passionate about helping others find confidence and community, both through her speech studies and as a certified lifeguard and swim coach. As a member of the Jewish Caucus, Madison is excited to connect with others who share her commitment to strengthen Jewish representation in the field of speech-language pathology and audiology.

Eryn

Eryn Brazlavsky

Student Intern

Eryn Brazlavsky is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in Linguistics. She has hands-on experience supporting individuals with special needs across both clinical and recreational settings, where she strengthened her skills in communication support and person-centered care.  Eryn's academic and professional interests focus on Aphasia, with a passion for helping individuals reclaim their voice and enhance their quality of life. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors and getting lost in a good book. AS an active member of the Jewish community and a student intern with the ASHA Jewish Caucus, Eryn is passionate about advocacy and committed to promoting culturally responsive care within the field of speech-language pathology.

Marlee Fried

Student Intern

Marlee Fried is a senior undergraduate student at Yeshiva University Stern College for Women where she is majoring in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Marlee studied in Israel for a gap year and subsequently attended Dawson College and then McGill University for her first year of undergraduate studies.  in the fall of 2024. Marlee transferred to Yeshiva University from McGill in the fall of 2024. Marlee is passionate about her field of study and community and is actively involved Jewish organizations including NCSY and Bnei Akiva. Marlee also serves as a student intern for ASHA's Jewish Caucus and is looking forward to a career in the field of Speech Pathology.
